EN-FOAM
Foam Boosting Multi-Enzyme Formulation

Lather is one of the characteristics in bar and liquid soap formulations which is being sought after by consumers and soap manufacturers. Lather formed from soap reduces the surface tension of the water while it traps water particles in between thin layers of soap. Thus, dirt and dead skin cells are easily washed off, and it gives the squeaky-clean skin feel after usage.

The use of chemical foam boosters is usually added in soap formulations to increase its lather capability. However, as the world gears towards environmental-friendly and healthy living, the use natural ingredients are now an advantage. The use of natural foam boosters will not only give enhanced lathering on soaps but it will also ensure the safety of the consumer and the environment. EN-FOAM is natural foam booster product specially designed to increase the formation of foam in bar and liquid soap formulations.

It is a multi-enzyme formulation which promises to instantly increase lather, thus maximizing the spreading of soap during application. It is also considered to be a non-GMO product. Studies have shown that the use of EN-FOAM instantly increases soap foaming. The table below shows the lather height comparison between a finished soap product (control) and a finished soap product incorporated with EN-FOAM.

EN-FOAM is a cream to beige powder with slight fermentation odor, and a standard mesh 40 packed in 1kg foil bag. This product is cosmetic- grade, so this must be only applied for cosmetic and personal care use only.
