ENZAIDE NP 100
Neutral Protease
Proteins are among the most complex organic compounds found in nature. They are an important component of every cell in the body. They are considered as a macronutrient, meaning the body needs a relatively large quantity of them. They are made-up of nitrogen containing compounds known as amino acids. Amino acids are the fundamental structural element of every type of cell. Protease is a term which refer to a group of enzymes whose catalytic function is to hydrolyze proteins into amino acids which are readily absorbed through the intestinal wall of humans and animals.
EN NP100 is a light brown powder with a standard mesh 40 packed in 1kg foil bag. It is a kind of endo-peptidase produced from a high protease-producing, non-GMO, Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) Bacillus strain. It reacts on proteinbased/polypeptide substances and is widely used in animal feed industries
EN NP-100 provides optimum activity between 10-60°C, at pH 6.0-8.0.
Description Neutral Protease
Activity 100,000 U/g
NP100 has an average shelf life of one year from the time of manufacture, so proper storage is a must: store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. This product maintains its activity for considerably longer time when stored at lower temperatures (below 25°C). The product should not be frozen.
